The datasheet for the SN65HVD72 3.3V RS485 Transceiver doesn't mention:

Meets or Exceeds the Requirements of the

TIA/EIA−485A Standard

Is there a specific TIA/EIA-485A requirement that it does not meet?

Hi Doane,

thanks for your post.
I have just compared the standard requirements as the differential output voltage and common mode tolerance and could not find any specs that were not met.
I will check with our team tomorrow and compare the timing requirements too.

Doane,

I have checked the datasheet and talked to our team and the SN65HVD72 we have found no specs not fulfilling RS-485 compliance.
So it is just not stated explicitly in the datasheet that it "meets and exceeds the TIA/EIA−485A Standard".
