Dear all.

Maximum isolation working voltage is 1500VRMS and VDC=2121V.
How much is the peak voltage?
Our customer would like to use 830V signal and 1700V of internal peak voltage.
Can we use this device?

    Hi PAN-M,

    VIORM Maximum repetitive peak isolation voltage is 2121 Vpk, as mentioned in section 8.3.1.2 Insulation Characteristics of ISO7841 datasheet  (SLLSEM3C.pdf)

    Yes, you can use ISO7841 device till above mentioned 2121 peak voltage and 1500 Vrms (maximum isolation working voltage).

    Can you please share rough schematics or block diagram to better understand your query - "830V signal and 1700V of internal peak voltage"? Thanks
