Hi all
Would you mind if we ask ULN2803A?
<Question>
Our customert would like to know Iout(max)/CH, and Iout(max) total.
Our recognition is the following;
Iout max /CH : 500mA
Iout max total : 2500mA
Is it correct?
Kind regards,
Hirotaka Matsumoto

Hello Matsumoto-san,
The absolute maximum ratings are as you stated, however, it is not recommended to run at or near that limit for extended periods of time.
Please refer to the thermal information in the datasheet, because thermal dissipation is on of the most important limiting factors in using this device at such high currents. The device has the capability to reach the limits you mentioned, but will heat up beyond the 125C if not heatsinked properly.
Best,
Michael
