Dear Sirs,

My customer asked me as below question.

At VCC = GND conditions (IC power OFF),
Is there a problem if the flows - (both +,) CANH, CANL, for each of the OUTPUT, ± 10uA of current?

Could you please let me know about it.

Hello Yoshiki,

When the SN65HVDA1040A-Q1 is powered off the outputs CANH and CANL will have an input impedance around 30kOhms. Forcing a 10uA current into or out of the pins will cause a voltage drop of around +/-300mV at the pin which is no problem for the device.
