Hi team,

My customer wants to know following ESD ratings of SN75ALS181.

 ① HBM
    ・ Bus terminals
　  ・ All pins except Bus terminals

    According to following E2E thread, HBM rating is 2KV.
    Is the Bus terminals HBM rating 2KV too?

 ② Contact discharge, per IEC 61000-4-2 : Bus terminals
      If you have the data, please let me know.

 ③ Air-gap discharge, per IEC 61000-4-2 : Bus terminals

    Hello Nakano-san,

    Yes, the bus terminal HBM tolerance would be 2 kV as well. Unfortunately, this device was not designed or tested to meet any level of IEC 61000-4-2, and so we cannot assume much about its performance. If you are looking for a device with IEC 61000-4-2 immunity, I would suggest the newer THVD1552 device. It uses the same pinout as SN75ALS181 but is rated for 30 kV HBM, 18 kV IEC 61000-4-2 contact discharge, and 25 kV IEC 61000-4-2 air discharge.
