-Caution-

There was no "TCAN1043-Q1" as a device registration candidate in E2E.
Therefore, I registered "TCAN1042 - Q 1" instead.
The question is about "TCAN1043 - Q 1".

Questions about TCAN1043-Q1 power up / power down sequence specification

This device has three power supply inputs: VCC / VIO / VSUP.
Is the procedure for Power on / Power off for each power supply input specified?

As far as I see the datasheet,
I could not found a description specifically.

My customer's products use the following supply voltage.

VSUP = 12 V
VCC = 5 V
VIO = 3.3 V

The customer wants to turn on VCC (5 V) after 20 ms after turning on VIO (3.3 V).

Are there any problems with this sequence?

Orobianco,

This will power up the device just fine, but be aware for that 20ms, the majority of the functions in the device will not work.

Is VSUP assumed to be supplied through this sequence?

My customer understands that the device will not function properly for a period of 20 ms from turning on the VIO power supply until Vcc turns on.

In conclusion,

For both VCC / VIO / VSUP 　”power on” and ”power off　” procedures,

Is it ok to think that there is no particular specification to comply?

Orobianco,

Yes, looking at the power up sequence in the Powerpoint, this should be perfectly fine. The customer should not expect anything adverse behavior from our device.

Yes, this is the correct assumption. The power down sequence is not specific.
