Hi,

if I want to use 10.3125G at TLK10232, could I use general purpose mode?

if it must run at 10G-KR, does it must use clause 45 mode?

Hello Cannie,

You can use general purpose mode at 10Gbps. Please see section 1.3 of the datasheet.

Hello,

The max line rate in general purpose mode is 9.8304 Gbps (see table 5.2). Also, 64B/66B encoding cannot be used in general-purpose mode.
