Hi Team,
My customer ABB China wants to get spice model of SN75176A. Is this model available?

for interface products we typically provide IBIS models rather than spice models.
For IBIS models please contact David Larking on d-larkin@ti.com

Since this is an ancient thread let me try it here first. Can TI supply the IBIS model for SN75176A?
Regards Wouter
Hi Wouter,
Unfortunately, I don't believe an IBIS model was ever developed for this device. The part itself predates IBIS modeling, and it would have been difficult to have enough information to create a relevant model so many years after the IC design had completed. We do generally have IBIS models available for our more modern buffers, though (SN75HVD11, for example). Depending on your needs, you could consider (a) migrating to one of these newer devices in your application, (b) using the newer model as an approximation for the behavior of the older, un-modeled device, or (c) use the older device's equivalent circuit diagrams as a reference in creating a more fundamental model with similar electrical characteristics.
Regards,
Max
Hi Max,
Thanks for the quick reply. I will go for option B. I used the SN75HVD model.
