Hi, I have a question in the web of SN75C1167. Could you see figure below? (It is a copy of the Web. ) What meaning of "Isolated"? I think it to be the one like "GALVANIC ISOLATION" of the ISO Series. (For instance, ISO1050.) Could you please teach me? Please correct...

CherWei, We don't have a pin-to-pin for the LTM2881, but our ISO3086T has similar functions, using external components to achieve higher power conversion efficiency. See it at http://www.ti.com/product/iso3086t .

I’m looking for a 3.3V or 5V to RS-232 with isolation and ESD protection. The current design used 2x ADUM7441’s for isolation, MAX845/xfrmer/LP2981 for isolated +5Viso, and MAX3160E for 232/485, plus TVSs – fair amount of board space. All the circuitry I just listed drops may 85-90mA...

  • Forum Post: RE: ISO35 differential output voltage magnitude > Vcc

    Greg Harrison Greg Harrison
Hi Thomas: Thanks for the reply, however my question is not in regards to the input voltage differential that may be applied to the receive pair (Vid) but rather the differential output voltage (Vod) that the ISO35 full-duplex transceiver is sourcing on the transmit pair. Our application uses the...

    Greg Harrison Greg Harrison
Hi Jason, Thomas: Thank you for the replies, and I believe I see the difference now lies between how the RS422 electrical spec specifies "Vss" and the ISO35 datasheet specifies "Vod." The RS422 electrical spec defines Vss as the difference in steady state voltages across a 100...

  • Forum Post: ISO35 differential output voltage magnitude > Vcc

    Greg Harrison Greg Harrison
The ISO35 device has proven to be a solid part for our isolated RS422 ports, and proven well over long distances and isolation testing. One item we have noticed is, while the datasheet specifies the Differential output voltage (Vod) magnitude as Vcc max, for Vcc = 3.6V we have measured the Vod at low...
