My customer require a device that has same function with TL16C554A but package should be smaller than TL16C554A. Please help recommend suitable device. Thanks!

What functions have to be the same? We have several similar devices in smaller packages, the difference being the devices have less channels. Is there a need for 4 channels?

Hi,
Customer indeed need 4 channels. In fact, they tell me about XR16L784 solution. The package is much smaller. For 4 channel solution, do we have smaller package? Thanks!

It looks like the XR16784 solution is in a 12mm x 12mm LQFP package, which is one of the package options for the TL16C554A and the TL16C754C. As for smaller package with 4 UART channels, it doesn't look like we have any options, they all come in the 12mm x 12mm LQFP package.
