Can you please suggest CAN transceiver with following specifications
1. Compliant with the ISO11898-1 (CAN 2.0B) protocol
2. Speed Minimum 1Mbps
3. With high Bus fault voltage protection

6. Undervoltage Protection on Supply Terminals

    thanks for reaching out. Our new CAN device TCAN1043 match definitive with the requirements you have listed. The only questions I have is regarding:

    9. With Medical grade: I'm not familiar with a medical grad specification do you have any additional information on this

    12. Inbuilt Isolator Preferred: What kind of isolation are you looking for and which signals have to be isolated?

    Hi Dierk,

      Thanks for your suggestion and quick response. Also regarding the Medical grade, the part specification shall match IEC 60601 edition 4 standard. And regarding the isolation, the CAN transceiver input logic and output bus shall be isolated.

    Hi R.Sivasuryan,

    for this kind of application the TCAN1043 paired with a isolation device works. I found the IEC 60601 specifications is often related in our isolation devices. Let me discuss this with an expert of our isolation team and I come back with a proposal for that no later than Friday.

    Hi R.Sivasuryan,

    thanks for your patience. To match your requirements the ISO774x Family will work perfect in combination with the TCAN1043. The digital isolator matches the the EC 60601 specifications and is suitable for medical applications. 

    You may also will give the ISO1042 a look, this transceiver provides a one device solution but you have to compromise some of the features.
