MAX3243: V+ pin connection

Hi Team,

About Pin27(V+), data sheet suggests through a cap connect to GND or VCC.

So could it directly connect to VCC?

What is the side effect if we use this kind of connection?

    Daniel,

    V+ is charge pump output therefore it needs a cap to a DC bias, GND or VCC. If it's shorted to VCC, the output voltage won't be able to be charged higher than VCC.
