MAX3243: TIA/EIA-232-F conformance documentation

We're submitting our design for an industry specific approved product list. As part of the process, compliance documentation is required to assure our device meets the TIA/EIA-232-F standard. Does TI have this documentation for the MAX3243 that can be passed on?

    Hello Kashif,

    TIA/EIA-232-F compliance is listed as a feature on the datasheet, and the electrical/timing parameter specified by this device are all within the standard requirements. Is this sufficient documentation, or are you looking for something else? (If so, can you please provide an example? I am not aware of a standard third-party certification process for TIA/EIA-232-F.)
