    Hello Sam,

    MAX3243 and TRS3243 are the same device, just given different part numbers in order to help with second-sourcing. The same applies for MAX3243E and TRS3243E. The MAX/TRS3243E devices differ from MAX/TRS3243 (non-E) in that they implement additional protection for IEC ESD.
