TUSB4020BI-Q1: Confusion about the supported speeds by the USB Hub

Part Number: TUSB4020BI-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB4020BI, TUSB2077A, TUSB2046B, TUSB2036

Greetings,

I have a quick question regarding the speed supported by TUSB4020BI USB hub. On TI's usb hubs page the following is mentioned;

TI's USB Hub controller ICs support USB full-speed (12 Mbps) as their maximum bit transfer rate. They can support a USB high-speed (480 Mbps) device, but its performance will be limited to USB full-speed.

However this is taken from the datasheet of TUSB4020BI which is listed in the page I got the comment above from;

When the upstream port is connected to an electrical environment that supports high-speed and full-speed/low-speed connections, high-speed and full-speed/low-speed USB connectivity is enabled on the downstream ports.

So which one is it? Is it limited to full speed or can I use high speed with the mentioned Hub controller?

Kind regards,

Mete
