Dear All,

I am currently testing several USB type-C to C male cables and all is working fine, But to complete my testing I need to benchmark the Bandwidth of the cables up to USB 3.1 gen2 up to 10Gbps. Can I use 2 or more  TPS65982-evm and a FTDI or Aardvark to benchmark the bandwidth speed of the cable.

First question is this possible?

Second question what do I need to do?

    Hi Mitchel,

    Our PD controllers do not handle and/or connect to the super speed signals. The super speed signals go from the type-c connector to the DP expansion port on our EVM's. You might want to start a new post with the super speed mux forum. You could possibly start with the HD3SS460 device (USB3.1 super speed mux) to start you bandwidth discussion.
