TPS65982: TPS65982 CC debounce

Hi, Team,

I have a question for TPS65982 CC detection. I think that the TPS65982 checks CC voltage(or current?) after an attach of type-c cable, the tCCdebounance spec is 100ms-200ms.

What happen if the voltage is not satisfy the type-c spec at tCCdebounance? Does the TPS65982 FW try to connect type-C again?

Hi Satoshi,

The PD controller senses a voltage at the CC lines. The tCCdebounce time starts after there's a voltage on the CC channel. If there's no voltage, then the PD controller stays in the unattached state as if nothing was connected.
