Hi Team,

The datasheet shows 4.7uF(TYP) is recommended for CPP_5V0 and it may be shared with CPP_CABLE when PP_CABLE is tied to PP_5V0.



On the other hand, the following shows 22uF+0.1uF is requred.

Should we put 22uF+0.1uF?
I believe it because TPS65986EVM has 22uF+0.1uF but would like to confirm just in case.

    Hi Yaita,

    If you are planing to short PP_Cable to PP_5V0, we would suggest adding 22uF+0.1uF capacitors.

    According to PD3.0 spec: If the power supply is dedicated to a single Port, the minimum bulk capacitance is defined as cSrcBulk.

    For more information about source/sink capacitance, you could refer to section 7 of PD3.0 spec.
