TXS0108E_can use to convert 70Mhz clock signal voltage level 1.8V to 2.5V

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TXS0108E, SN74AVC16T245

hi,

I am planning to use txs0108e in my application to convert 1.8V to 2.5V.In port A side planing to connect 12 lines of data and clock signal. Clock signal frequency is 70Mhz and voltage level 1.8V. Based on clock signal toggle data pins output will change. In port B side data lines and clock signal need to be connect to FPGA (IO voltage 2.5V) .weather  txs0108e will support to convert 1.8V to 2.5V clock(70Mhz & above)  and data ?

  • ramesh,

The TXS0108E datasheet states the maximum supported data rates for different voltage nodes. I did not see any voltage node combination that would support a clock frequency/data rate of 70 MHz/140 Mbps

I would suggest that you look at the AVC family of translators, such as the SN74AVC16T245, which could support 70 MHz/140 Mbps.
