TX517EVM: Configure wave output using USB interface connector (J6)

Dear TI friends,

I can see a USB interface connector (J6) on TX517EVM. I was wondering what is the functionality of this USB interface. Also, is it possible to configure the board through this usb connection? If yes, do you have any software or tutorial on how to do so?

If there were any (officially supported) software available, it would be listed on the web page.

J6 is connected to the FT245RL, which in turn goes to the FPGA. So it looks as if this is indeed some kind of configuration mechanism.

Hi Sajad,

The USB connector is used for internal evaluation only. There is no released software or tutorial to configure the board via USB.
Please use the buttons on the EVM for evaluation as described in the user guide.
