LSF0101: Question about level of 'EN' on my schematics.

Part Number: LSF0101

LSF0101DRYR_SCH.pdf

Hi, All.

I attach schematics.That is using LSF0101DRYR.

Below refer to Nets.

+3.2V : 3.2V / 100mA => Power Source of OLED Display

VDD_S : 1.8V/200mA => Power Source of MCU

/OLED_RST'          :  GPIO port of OLED Display(3.3v level I/O)

/OLED_RST          :  GPIO port of MCU(1.8V level I/O)

I have a question.

I'd like to connect  'VDD_S'  and  'EN' of U6(LSF0101DRYR). Is that possible?

If not, recommend possible parts.

Best regards,

Inho Jeon.

  • Hi Inho,
    Your 200kohm resistor is in the wrong place. Please take a look at this video - it discusses the bias circuit in detail and only take a couple minutes for the full explanation: training.ti.com/TLM-LSF-Bias

    You cannot connect VDD_S directly to EN on the LSF0101 series of translators (for reasons explained in the above video), however, you could use VDD_S to drive an open-drain buffer that then controls the EN pin. This probably isn't necessary, however, since removing the supply at Vref_A will drop the bias voltage and essentially turn off the LSF device.
