TXB0108: Calculation of Thevenin Termination for TXB and TXS series of buffers

Part Number: TXB0108

Hi

I want to increase  the drive capability of TXB/ TXS series of buffers by adding Thevenin termination to the buffer output.

i need details on calculation of Thevenin Termination considering the internal architecture of TXS and TXB buffers.

Regards,

  • Hi Amit,
As I said in your other post with the same question, adding resistors to the output of TXB and TXS will not increase drive strength. These devices are designed to operate with weak (TXB) or no (TXS) output drive strength.
