ISOW7841: Termination of unused Inputs/Outputs

Hello everyone!

What is the best way of terminating the unused inputs and outputs for both: input side (Vcc) and isolated side (Viso)?

My plan to to use similar setup like in TIDA-00892 but I want to use it in a half-duplex mode together with SN65HVD72

Hi Andrei,

It is ok to leave the unused pins unconnected/floating.
Just to understand more clearly, how many communication pins of ISOW7841 will be used?

Hi Anand,

Thank you. I'm planning to use one input (say INA) for Tx, one output OUTD for Rx, and one input INB to control both DE and RE (tied together on the isolated side) of the RS-485 driver IC. I will then leave INC and OUTC unconnected and it should work fine, right?
