ISO7741: Detail sch questions

Hi Guys,

my customer is designing the ISO7741 sch and have a few questions about the parts, could you please help to double confirm? Thanks.

1. Do VCC1=3.3V and VCC2=5V is OK?----------------------My answer: OK

2. If no signal is connected to input, how should we do?--------------------My answer: shorted to ground with 10K resistor.

3. If no signal is connected to output, how should we do?--------------------My answer: shorted to ground with 10K resistor.

    Hi Martin,

    1. Yes this is perfectly fine. The two sides are independent.

    2. This can be left floating, but for noisy environments it's best to tie to the fail-safe value. For ISO7741 this would be pull up to Vcc. For ISO7741F this would be pull down to GND.

    3. This is fine or it can be floated.
