ISO7141FCC: VCC1 is power off,VCC2 is power on . What is the the OUTA,OUTB and OUTC output state?

Part Number: ISO7141FCC
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO7141CC

In FMEAD analysis ISO7141,VCC1  is power off,VCC2  is power on . What is the the OUTA,OUTB and OUTC output state?

  • Hi Rengui,

Thank you for using E2E Forum. Since ISO7141FCC has an 'F' suffix in its part number, it is a device with default LOW state. For a default LOW state device, the outputs LOW when the power to input channel is OFF. In your case for ISO7141FCC, the outputs OUTA, OUTB & OUTC will become LOW when VCC1 is powered OFF while VCC2 is ON.

For ISO7141CC (without 'F' suffix), the outputs will be HIGH instead of LOW under similar operating conditions.

More details on input / output relation are described in Table 3 Function Table in ISO7141FCC datasheet as shown below.

Let me know if you have any other questions, thank you.
