ISO7762: Termination of not using line

Part Number: ISO7762

Hi,

Could you let me know how to termination of not using line, please?

For example, at not using B line, I think it is INB=GND and OUTB=Open.
Is it correct?

Best regards,
Shimizu

  • Hi Shimizu,

Thanks for asking your question on E2E.

Unused Input - This can be left floating, but for noisy environments it's best to tie to the fail-safe value. For ISO7762 this would be pull up to Vcc. For ISO7762F this would be pull down to GND.

Unused Output - This can be left floating or you could use a pull down resistor to GND.

    Best regards,

    Dan

  • Hi Shimizu,

To add to Dan's inputs, a typical value that we recommend for pull-up and pull-down resistors is 4.7kΩ. Let us know if you have any other questions, thanks.
