ISO7641FC: To know whether the ISO7641FC has apply IEC62368-1 A3

ISO7641FC is one of our older generation devices, i would recommend looking at ISO7741F for any new requirements to take advantage of all the performance improvements achieved in ISO77xx family.

I see that IEC 62368-1 is a new safety standard for audio-visual (AV) and information & communication technology (ICT) components and equipment. I am not very familiar with the standard but I see this standard is based of and is going to replace IEC 60950-1 and IEC 60065. The device ISO77xx complies to both IEC 60950-1 and IEC 60065 as given in Section 6.7 of ISO7741 datasheet. I am not sure if this answers your question but if I do find more information on this topic, I will come back and update it here. Thanks.

Hi Eric,

ISO7641FC is certified according to IEC 60950-1 2nd Ed already. This is an active standard.

There is currently no plan to certify this device according to IEC 62368-1 (which will eventually replace IEC 60950-1).
