Part Number: ISO1212
Is it possible to use ISO1212 replacing the opto-coupler on the motor driver application as below shown?
The diagram shows the commonity interface between PLC and Servo motor driver.
It means that the ISO1212 needs to meet AM26C31 line driver's output characteristic!!
Also, Is there any similar application or successful story in the WW?

The ISO1212 can be used to replace the optocoupler for a similar application but the differential signal on the input side needs to be greater than 10V. The AM26C31 does not appear to be able to provide this level of differential signal. There is a Tech Note here that covers the application of the ISO121x in motor drives.
