ISOW7842: Do you anticipate a version of ISOW7842 w/ 5.7K Isolation Rating , 8K Surge Rating and 60601-1 Certification? If so, when?

    Hi Jon,

    ISOW784x should already be 60601 certified.
    Regarding the other parameters, we usually don't see a request for this level of isolation rating.
    Could you please give me an idea of the end application the device will go in?

    I'd like to use the ISOW784x in a medical application.

    Are both the data lines and power isolation sections of this part suitable for a medical device that draws power from a USB port?

    If not, is there another part in development that is more suitable?

    Hi Jon,

    Anand is out of office for a few days so I thought I would comment in the mean time. Yes, ISOW78xx is suitable for medical application. We've had customers use this part in a medical application before.
