How do you isolate multiple digital input channels with limited board space?
In any design, board space is precious. The ISO121x device is ideal for high-density compact multi-channel designs and saves more board real estate than multiple optocoupler solutions. Channels on the ISO1212 are independent so in the case of failure on one channel, the other is not affected.
