Hello,

I am currently doing repair for some inverters modules, most of the times, the MOSFETS are blown and with them, the optocupler.

The coupler being used is HCPL-3120 - AVAGO/BROADCOM

Unfortunatelly I've been having some discrepancies, some give me the right voltage for the driver to operate and some do not, during different tests, different time, I came to the conclusion that the manufacturer does not deliver the same quality and that voltage difference in VO make the whole circuit malfunction.

I'm trying to find a TI equivalent to this coupler.

Do you have any recommendation for this?

Thanks for your interest in our products.

Unfortunately, we don't have a pin-to-pin compatible part with the HCPL-3120, but we have a functionally-equivalent part, UCC23513.

Life time testing shows our capacitive isolation used in the UCC23513 is much superior to the optical isolation used in the HCPL-3120, and we have a wider operating range.

Please take a look at the UCC23513 data sheet and let me know what questions you have.
