ISO7760: Estimation for Current consumption

Part Number: ISO7760

Dear Technical Support Team,

How do I estimate for current consumption of ISO7760?

             input output

Case1:  3.3V ⇒ 5V (Vcc1 :3.3V、 Vcc2: 5V)

Case2: 5V     ⇒ 3.3V  (Vcc1 :5V、 Vcc2: 3.3V)

Datasheet shows Vcc1=Vcc2=5V or 3.3V for Current consumption.

However it doesn't have above situation.

Best Regards,

ttd

  • Hi TTD,

The isolator ISO7760 has two dice inside where each die will operate independently from each other. Since they operate from independent power supply, ICC1 & ICC2 currents are separately given in all the tables. Please see my inputs below,

    Case1: Refer ICC1 values from the table where VCC1 = VCC2 = 3.3V. Refer ICC2 values from the table with VCC1 = VCC2 = 5V.

    Case2: Refer ICC1 values from the table where VCC1 = VCC2 = 5V. Refer ICC2 values from the table with VCC1 = VCC2 = 3.3V.

Let me know if you have any questions, thank you.

    Regards,
    Koteshwar Rao
