ISO1212: More insight on the Minimum value of voltages Vsense and V_in pin of ISO1212

Part Number: ISO1212

Hi  ,

Thanks In advance,

Can I get more insight on the the factors 8.25V and 7.1V that are added in VIH and VIL  calculations , aslo rationale behind selecting these factors ?

How to design a circuit with ISO1212 so as to have volatges above 19V , gives output high.

Kindly help me with this.

Regards,

Vidyashree

  • Vidyashree,

8.25V and 7.1V are the VIH and VIL thresholds without any Rthr present. Then those become constants when calculating the VIH and VIL when actually using Rthr. For calculating the resistor values needed for particular VIH/VIL and input voltage values, please refer to the calculator tool linked below.

    Respectfully,

    Lucas
