We have made the repeater design for RS 485 with the Texas circuit on General purpose board for 115200 baud rate. But the circuit is not working as desired. The output of the first transreceiver works well and same goes to the input of second transreceiver. But the output from the second transreceiver is not obtained only 1 volt output signal we receive at its output, wherein the input voltage is 5 V. Is there any threshold limit for the transreceiver to operate. Please guide... Could there be any issue with the General purpose board at high speed due to which its not operating.
Welcome to TI E2E Forum and sorry to hear about the issue you are facing.
RS-485 repeater design is not trivial and needs extra attention. Could you please share us the schematic and any waveform you already have? The more details you share the easier it will be for us to debug the issue. Thanks.
We are glad that we were able to resolve this issue, and will now proceed to close this thread.

Sorry, I mistakenly pressed that my last post resolves your issue. Please do help me with the requested information and one of my colleagues will come back to you on this. Thanks.

Thanks for providing this data. Can you provide a schematic as well?
In reply to Lucas Schulte9:
Pls find attached file
Unfortunately the schematics didn't come through properly. Can you try again? If it still doesn't work then we can try emailing if possible.
Thank you. I see that you are using the exact same schematic as the TIDA-00333. That reference design advertises a max data rate of 100 kbps. Does your board still have the same issue at lower speeds?
After working onto this Texas circuit with the timing circuit, timing for the schmitt trigger adjusted to 8 ns the circuit is now working with ISO 3088 transreceiver in no load condition. The input waveform is reflected in the output side when no load is connected. But when i am connecting this repeater with the load unit the output waveform disappears.
Can anyone suggest the probable cause for this happening.
What is the load that you are connecting?
