ISO7231C: High Impedance Output

Part Number: ISO7231C

Dear Team,

The customer would like ISO7231CDWR can operate at high impedance at the secondary side when the primary side doesn't have input signal.

It seems when EN pull low the output will be high impedance at table 2.

But the customer can't pull the EN to low base on there current design.

Do we have other P2P devices have output high impedance when the primary side doesn't have input signal?

Or how to deal with this situation?

BR

  • Kevin,

Unfortunately pulling the output Enable pin low is the only way to achieve a high-impedance state for the output pins. Our devices are designed to assume a default output state, either high or low, for most other conditions. Would a device that defaults to the logical high state work? Why is high impedance needed specifically?

    Respectfully,
