ISO1450: ISO1450 power assumption

Part Number: ISO1450

Dear team,

Customer will use 24 channel ISO1450 on their data acquisition board. They will add two 5V on each side for power supply, and the RT is 120Ohm. Customer want to know how about the assumption? What customer could do to decrease the assumption? The purpose of this question is because they have came across the assumption issue in their previous solution, it is not a TI solution, customer add 3.3V power supply and the assumption nearly 30mA.

Thanks.

Best regards,

Sammi

  • Sammi,

This figure form the data sheet shows current consumption for both Vcc1 and Vcc2. Icc2 current consumption will depend on the data rate the customer is using. Icc1 current consumption will be very low with 5V. Icc1 is a maximum of 5.4mA at 50Mbps.

    Repsectfully,

    Lucas Schulte
