I am working with CCS 5.2 with a TI ARM Cortex A8 target. I am trying to connect to the target using Remote System Explorer (RSE) and have followed the instructions here:
I have got to the last step, where I am to “Right-Click the My Target EVM node and select Connect”. I should then see the target's RSA key fingerprint. However, instead I see:
Failed to connect sshd on "<snip>": ProxyHTTP: java.io.IOException: proxy error: Service Unavailable
How can I fix this please?
I have progressed a little with this. I have added the EVM to the proxy bypass list in CCS. Now when I attempt to connect to the EVM using RSE I get:
Failed to connect SFTP subsystem: Remote host may not have sftp-server installed : java.io.IOException: inputstream is closed
How should I proceed?

The lab that is mentioned was developed with version 5.1 of CCS. Here is a link to download that version of CCS.
The 5.1 version has RSE support in it.

It turned out that the openssh packages were not included in my kernel image. I added those and RSE now connects to the target correctly.
