Hello,
I used FIT calculator on TI website to calculate failure rate for part number "TMDSDSK6713" however it shows NA in FIT & MTBF columns. how can I get the reliability of this product? there isn't any document which can help me? if no, can you suggest any other way to know about the reliability of it (e.g. similar package etc.)?

Hi Nova
You have posted this on the High Reliability forum, are you using the EP/enhanced performance version of this device?
If not, and you are just using regular C6713, you can see some guidance on MTBF and FIT on the device product folder, quality tabe
www.ti.com/.../pinout-quality
Click on the "View" link under the MTBF/FIT /DPPM column.
Let us know if that does not help.

Hi Nova,

I just noticed something here that I know is causing some confusion. The part number you stated is for a Software Development Kit (SDK) / DSP Starter Kit, and as such, FIT and MTBF have no relevance. Would you be willing to review and perhaps restate what you are needing so that the inquiry can be correctly addressed?

One clarification as I close out this ticket. The TMDSDSK6713 is an EVM. It is not a silicon product that has an MTTF calculation. It is not meant for long-term use and it is not design to be part of a customer's product. The silicon device on the EVM is the TMS320C6713B. It is rated for long term use. If you go to the link you will see the reliability values for this silicon product.
