UC1846

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UC1846, UC1846-SP

HI,

I am using UC1846, for flyback DC-DC converter. if the differential voltage across the pin C/S+, C/S-  is greater than 1.2V whether it limits the duty cycle?  [1.2V is the voltage given in the datsheet]

can I know the tolerance of the maximum differential voltage C/S+, C/S-.

  • Hey Sudeep,

Raising the differential voltage of pin C/S+, C/S- will cause the duty cycle to decrease. Going above 1.2 V will likely make the duty cycle go to 0.

We do not specify the max differential voltage for C/S+, C/S- on this part. I see a minimum max differential voltage specified for UC1846-SP of 1.1 V, but there is no maximum max differential voltage specified of this part.

    Thanks,

    Daniel
