Hi,

I would like to ask regarding TMDSEVM3530.

I know this forum is not appropriate for my question. But OMAP forum is not already closed.

My customer would like to get the OMAP3530 EVM that is shown in the below Microsoft site.

 msdn.microsoft.com/.../gg154771(v=winembedded.70).aspx Features

I think this evm is the same as TMDSEVM3530( http://www.ti.com/tool/tmdsevm3530 ). Is my understanding right?

But I am worried about one thing.

When I try to download "Technical Documemtation & Design Files for OMAP3350 EVM - from Mistral" from TI TMDSEVM3350 site, it is jumped to Mistral "TMDXEVM8148 Documentation" site.

Is OMAP3530 and DM8148 same device?  Is DM8148 mounted in latest TMDSEVM3530?

Please advise me.

I appreciate your quick reply.

Best regards,

Michi

  • Hi Michi,

"I know this forum is not appropriate for my question. But OMAP forum is not already closed. "
I will move this thread to the OMAP35x forum.

"I think this evm is the same as TMDSEVM3530( www.ti.com/.../tmdsevm3530 ). Is my understanding right?"
    Yes, I also think so.

"Is OMAP3530 and DM8148 same device? Is DM8148 mounted in latest TMDSEVM3530?"
No, these are two different EVMs and devices.

I made a search but also can not find OMAP35x EVM schematics in Mistral site. What I can suggest you is to contact Mistral directly and check with their support team.

There is also some internal documents, but you can get these only through your local TI FAE. Please pass him the below link:
