BQ501210: Wireless Power Transmission for Industrial Usage

Hi Sir, Madam,

My customer is looking for wireless power transmission solution for industrial device. The concept is something like the picture attached, It is different from traditional wireless charging application.

Do you have any idea or solution which is good to propose?

1 of the design requirement is less components count due to limited device size. Customer is looking for STM solution, STWBC (transmitter) and STWLC03 (receiver). As my understanding, TI wireless transmission solution normally required transmitter controller IC, coil AFE, and MOSFET. Is there any solution which with lesser components count or integrated some components in 1 chip?

    What what is the power delivery requirement for the sensor blocks, specially the last one in the chain (sensor 5)?

    Thanks for your reply.
    The supply input for the first sensor will be 10-30VDC, 1A. Every sensor block consume 60mA@5V. Up to 5 sensor blocks to be stacked.

    Given that every sensor block after the first one will be powered by a 5V supply you will need a TX supporting 5V input. Since the consumption sensors 2 through 5 is < 5W total, you may use a 5V Vin , 5W TXs such a sthe bq500511 or bq500212A, but these parts are currently NRND. For Sensor one you will need the bq5001210 to provide enough power but the maximum input voltage is limited to 19V max.

    My customer is designing new product so NRND parts will not be shortlisted as product MP likely happening in Q3 2018. Beside from BQ500511 and BQ500212A which are NRND, is there any other parts recommended? Or any parts are suitable but is not in production yet?
