Hi Experts I have a Photo-diode integrated with IC which gives a TTL output. the frequency is 50M.Right now, I can see the output through a probe to a oscilloscope(1M input impedance). But for measuring the Bit error rate , I have to output this signal to the receiver which has a 50ohm input impedance.(through a 50ohm cable which has two BNC ports)someone suggests me to use 74S140, but I check the date sheet, i don't need this 4 input NAND logic.
So any other suggestions ? Or can I just use a unity gain amplifier ?
Besides, for the purpose of measuring the Bit error rate, the delay should smaller than 500 ps.
Hello Liu
The last spec will eliminate all logc parts for this application. We do not have any Logic parts that can meet 500ps delay.
