Hello,

I downloaded the IBIS model for buffer sn74cb3q3245 on TI website, but actually I cannot use it properly with the Hyperlynx simulation tool.

Indeed, no matter the pin I choose in the "attribute model" form (see picture), it's always defined as an input.

Did someone experience the same issue ? Any hint how I could fix that ?

Hyperlynx version : LineSim V8.0, build 433

Simulation done using the "free-form schematic" editor.

SN74 Hyperlynx IBIS

    Hints from the modeling team.

"This is just the standard issue with series pins being
modeled as series switch, not as buffers (because they don't
have buffers).  The user needs to use these pins with the
series switch modeling for the IBIS.  They may be able to get
their simulator to see the series switch info that is already
in the IBIS file, by modifying the model_name under the
[Pin] section to have '_S' at the end of the model_name."
