LSF0204: Biasing Requirement

Part Number: LSF0204

Messrs TI,

I just want to clearly understand if following the SCEA060 "Biasing Requirements for TXS, TXB, and LSF AutoBidirectional Translators" i can use the LSF0204 without pullup resistors when used in a 2,7V ->1,9V down conversion.

Best Regards

  • Hello,
Yes, the LSF0204 can be used to down-translate from 2.7V to 1.9V. I would highly recommend watching this video series to get a full explanation of the LSF family of devices and how they work: training.ti.com/LogicMinute

Looking for a low voltage translator? Check out the AXC family that supports 0.7V to 3.3V translation!

The Logic Minute training page has videos on many interesting topics that all are kept shorter than 5 minutes.
