Is there any classical problem when cascading three TS5A23160 switches?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TS5A23160

Hi,

I am trying to use three TS5A23160 switches in cascade (SInce it is a dual switch, so 2 such chips in which one switch is left unused).

To my surprise the system doesn't work properly when in slight moist environment (If some voltage falls from 2.5V to 0V at the input of first switch then the same is propagated to the output of third after 3 ms).

3 ms? Wow, it should never be like this. This is too much!!

It works fine when heated a bit. I mean when I heat the switches.

Any idea about what could be happening here?

Thanks,

Ujjwal

  • The problem was with one of the third switches I was using. The control line was left floating and I was controlling the switch on and off through its power supply in NC mode.

After tieing the control pin to ground, everthing is fine.

I think I had posted this question in a wrong forum, moderators, can you please move it to the correct one.

    Thanks,
