SN74LVC1G32 - Off Current Consumption

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74LVC1G32, SN74LVC2G00, SN74AUP2G00

The Ioff current in the datasheet for the SN74LVC1G32 is specified at a max of +-10uA. Practically, I've measured the current on a few devices in the lab and the Ioff current draw has has been in the sub-uA range and seemingly less than 100nA.

We have very power sensitive design and for the design to perform properly need the static current consumption of this gate to be in the sub-uA range. From a very small sample size, It seems that the SN74LVC1G32 devices perform in this way, but am concerned that since a typical Ioff current is not specified that devices may be build with Ioff current consumption approaching 10uA.

In cases such as this, is it possible to obtain a more thorough typical electrical characterization of Ioff at a normal operating temperature range? Is it really possible that current consumption can vary from the sub-uA range to 10uA? Is there factory data available above and beyond the data published in the datasheet?
