SN74ABT7819-20PN Replacement

Good day, we use the SN74ABT7819-20PN in one of our designs. But this part has become obsolete and has been replaced by SN74ABT7819A-20PN. The website states that “The device has the SAME FUNCTIONALITY and PINOUT as the compared device but is NOT an exact equivalent.” I have found that the obsolete part doesn’t have any RoHS compliance information, while the new one is RoHS Compliant. Does anyone know if this the only difference? Do you have any experience (success or failure) on changing to the new component? I hope you can help me with this, I appreciate your help.

  • Hi, Carlos,

This may be a little late but since no one got back to you yet I figured I would let you know that Rochester Electronics still has that part in stock. You may have already discovered that. I hope so!  Rochester is an authorized aftermarket distributor for TI and has a high reputation for quality.

You can also post your inventory needs or get parts-intelligence reports on the website I edit called, Trusted Global Buyers Network

    cheers,

    Aimee
