I am new to the electronics world and need help with a project i wanted to build. I want to create a device that when I push a start button it creates a random number, (0-9) on a 7 segment led. Each time I push this start button, I want it to add the random number to another set of 3, seven segment led's, which would total up to 999. I would also need a reset button to reset the single digit and the three digit led's to zero. This is to be powered by 9 volt battery if possible. Not sure what type of IC's to use and how the wiring would be to make this project work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
