weird waveforms seen on CB3T1G125

Hi,

I am using the above device as logic switch as shown in the below schematic. All input, output, enable and Vcc are at 3.3V level. I am seeing below waveform with ch1 at input and ch2 at output of U25. I realize that the IC is more than a digital switch but with level shifting features. The output might not be at Vcc when input is HIGH. however, the drooping (to 2V) seems a bit too much.

can anyone advise on this? thanks.

  • This device requires the input be 1v higher than Vcc. It is a down translator.  N channnel FET's will have an output of 1V below Vcc. This part uses the voltage on the input tp pull it the rest of the way up to Vcc. I fou dont want to translate you should use one of out Rail to rail switches like CB3Q or CBTLV
