Hi,

I am confused to know current ratings of SN74LVC2G53.how much current it would take when On state. how much current it would take when switching? also would it hold the switching current? how much current it would draw overall when switching or not switching. and how i can get PSpice model for that IC.

Hi Bilal,

You are looking at the Absolute Maximum ratings table. This table describes the maximum voltages/currents that can be applied to the part before damage will occur.

Current consumption specs are in "Electrical characteristics" on page 4. There, you will find IS(off) and IS(on), which are the leakage currents into the inputs when the switch is off or on; and ICC, the current consumed at the VCC pin during normal operation.

As far as I am aware, we do not have a measurement for switching current consumption. It depends on the slew rate to the control inputs (INH, A), the switching frequency, VCC, and input (Y1, Y2, COM) voltages.
